Hallouminati have been playing shows round the UK’s party scene since 2010,
leaving a trail of sweaty dancers, grinning audiences and a faint whiff of olive oil. Formed in Derby and now based in Nottingham via London via Cyprus, this seven piece band will make you throw your limbs all over. Hallouminati delicately mix the gritty realms of skankin’ ragga punk with traditional Greek rembetico vibes for an unforgettable live show that connects with every soul in the audience.
Through playing energetic shows across UK and Ireland, performing at festivals like Boomtown, Bestival and Kendal Calling and busking in Amsterdam, Hallouminati have been fine tuning a sound adaptable to anything and everything; from midnight gorilla dance floors of gypsy nights up and down the country to the soundtrack of a champagne doused ballroom soiree.
Armed with a barrage of bouzoukis, brass, guitars, keys and deranged beats, these guys will take over the intimate Archspace for the ultimate party. Young or old, introvert or extrovert, Hallouminati will throw their arm over your
shoulder, hand you an Ouzo, and have the whole venue up and dancing before you can shout "Opa!".
