We started Group Therapy in September 2012 because we thought there was something missing from the weekend comedy on offer in Manchester. There was plenty available for the stag and hen market, big rowdy, shouty nights where no one seemed to pay any attention to the comedy. But nothing for the comedy fans, nothing for the people who know that the best comedy happens live and not on telly. 

We bring some of the most exciting comedy talent from the UK and beyond to one of the best live venues in the country. From established acts to unknown gems, we keep the bills varied and the ticket prices cheap. 

Group Therapy is for you. If you love comedy but have never been to a live show before, or have been to one and hated it, let us enlighten you. We think we've got a pretty good thing going here and we'd love you to share it with you.
