Gloria Estefan is the most successful crossover artist in the history of pop music. In 1984 the number one hit ‘Dr.Beat’ began a 22 year run of non-stop hits for Gloria and was sampled by Mylo on the dance smash hit ‘Doctor Pressure’ which hit the Top 3 in September 2005.
Gloria paved the way commercially for a new generation of Latin Music stars including; Ricky Martin, Enrique Iglesias and Jennifer Lopez. She penned the Jennifer Lopez global dance smash ‘Let’s Get Loud’ and co-wrote Shakira’s world-wide hit ‘Whenever Wherever’.
Gloria Estefan’s illustrious career has included recording the official theme for the 1996 Summer Olympics and has won seven Grammy awards. Gloria also played opposite Meryl Streep in ‘Music Of The Heart’, and the music title song received an Academy Award nomination which Gloria recorded with N’Sync.
Gloria also has under her belt, two New York Times Best Seller children’s book.
