In 1998 Gandalf Murphy & The Slambovian Circus of Dreams (AKA The Grand Slambvovians) emerged from the misty hills of Sleepy Hollow, New York State, and exploded upon the psycho-folk music scene with their stunning self-produced debut release, A Good Thief Tips His Hat. The quirky quartet toured throughout the USA, rapidly developed a fiercely loyal, all-ages following, before invading the UK. Festival appearances in 2010 at Glastonbury and Rhythm Festival raised the creative stakes. Featured recently in Relix Magazine, the New York Times and on the hit American show, Joan of Arcadia, the charismatic live performances of Gandalf Murphy & The Slambovian Circus of Dreams and whimsical blend of folk, rock, hillbilly and pop have simply captivated audiences and critics alike.
