A year in development with Verve Records in New York saw Folks make their first recordings at Toerag Studios in Hackney.
They recorded their debut album 'I See Cathedrals' in West Hollywood with producer Luther Russell (Big Star, Sarabeth Tucek, Sean Lennon, Laura Marling, Fever The Ghost) and a coterie of the finest West Coast musicians.
On their return from the USA, they signed with Ignition Records and toured the UK, Europe and America and shared the stage with NGHFB's, Augustines, Band of Skulls, The Staves, Catfish & The Bottlemen and Miles Kane.
After completing a short Californian tour, Folks have spent the past year writing songs for their sophomore record whilst playing intimate shows here and there.
They recently collaborated with Italian legend Omar Pedrini on 'Che ci vado a fare a Londra' which reached #7 in the Italian charts.
This will be their first live date of 2015 before they enter the studio to make their second record.
