Flook's ability to weave musical magic from seemingly minimal elements yields a sound unlike any other in Irish music. The flutes of Sarah Allen & Brian Finnegan swirl and soar with captivating brilliance over the rhythmic bedrock of Ed Boyd on guitar and bodhran master John Joe Kelly, all combining to produce in Flook’s own distinctively exciting and innovative sound.

The band announced an extended hiatus in 2008. Back then it was their live shows and visible musical rapport onstage which really captured the attention of audience and critics alike - now they are back playing live and firing explosively on all four cylinders.
