Drygate's Hogmanay Funk Feast will feature The Award Winning Purveyors of Scottish Funk: 'Federation Of The Disco Pimp', Glasgow’s AV funkers 'Shaka Loves You' and Drygate's very own 'Flying Funk Master'.
The Flying Funk Master (Lunacy) will open the night, spinning disco, funk, latino and soul. After you are suitably warmed up, we'll roll out the perfect good times live show in the shape of Shaka Loves You; with a full audio-visual & live percussion performance - effortlessly fusing elements of funk, soul, disco & hip-hop with custom visuals and turntablism. To welcome in the wee hours of 2017 and to ensure you start the new year on the good foot we have hard-hitting Funk band and winners of the Sunday Herald Culture Award for ‘Best Live Performance’- Federation Of The Disco Pimp! If that wasn't quite enough there will also be various other happenings throughout the night including a complimentary photo booth, dancers, light show and a Soul Train Dance Off! 70's get-up highly encouraged but not compulsory!
