GUILD PROMOTIONS TO LAUNCH PRESTON’S BIGGEST EVER CLUB NIGHT
WITH THE LEGENDARY DJ FRESH
An exciting series of electronic dance music events is set to transform the iconic building that is Preston Guild Hall into a unique dance music venue, beginning with a launch party on Saturday 26th September headlined by the legendary DJ Fresh.
Presented by Guild Promotions, each show will feature the biggest and best names in the industry, supported by world-leading visual production.
This is DISTRICT.
DJ FRESH has sold millions of records world-wide, hitting the number one spot twice with singles “Louder” and “Hot Right Now”. Joining him for the launch will be one of the current most in demand producers - DJ S.K.T. The man behind hit record ‘Take Me Away’ has featured on every major festival and club line-up this summer.
Keeping with the house vibe, rising star APRÉS will also join the party with support from North West favourite NICK COULSON and Toolroom Records’ MR H’S.
This is DISTRICT. is set to become a regular fixture at the city’s venue and will be a massive draw for students and young people.
Guild Promotions has formed a close relationship with UCLAN since it began operating as a booker of live music events at Preston Guild Hall, and General Manager Susan Burns aims to cater for students as well as fill a gap in the wider market for top club and dance acts.
She said: “This event will bring Electronic Dance Music to the Guild Hall for the very first time and become a regular event throughout the year. We have been meeting with the Students Union at UCLAN to gain vital feedback to develop a relevant and exciting live events programme for students and young people in Preston. They should keep their eyes peeled for our street teams who will be handing out information across Preston leading up to and during Freshers' Fortnight. We have a phenomenal Halloween event planned for 31st October with the biggest EDM line-up’s ever seen in the history of Preston - so watch this space for further announcements!”
“We are bringing the Guild Hall bang up to date for live music and this early bird price won’t be around forever,” said Susan. “As the event grows so prices will increase, so this an excellent chance to experience DISTRICT. at the Guild hall at never to be seen again prices.”
