Swiss piano trio VEIN join forces with
saxophone great Dave Liebman
Formed of twins Michael and Florian Arbinez (piano and drums respectively) and bassist Thomas Lähn, VEIN are acclaimed for their stupendous musical togetherness and astonishing interplay, while David Liebman is considered a renaissance man in contemporary music with a career stretching over forty years. Their new studio album Jazz Talks straddles the landscape from jazz standards to original compositions and pure improvisation.
As Michael explains, the collaboration provides ‘a balance between an intellectually satisfying music, virtuosity, but also poetry, feeling and energy’.
