Join us at St Mary’s chambers for the biggest “Manchester” night to ever hit the valley as we present three heavyweights of the scene, Bez, Clint Boon and Rowetta on one stage for one night only, for a night of top tunes and Manchester vibes.
The trio are some of the most iconic faces of one of the most notable era’s in music to ever hit the British isles.
Rowetta’s signature vocals helped The Happy Mondays transcend indie and dance to provide the sound of the good times for millions throughout the 90s and beyond. More recently, collaborations with Gorrillaz, Swedish House Mafia and many more have futher established Rowetta’s incredible status.
Bez - the man, the myth the legend, orchestrated crowds across the world with his unique and relentless energy, from his varied appearances on TV to travelling the world with one of the most famous bands to ever emerge from the UK, the Happy Mondays. Bez forged a route to the heart of the nation simply by being himself, an Energizer Bunny indie icon.
Clint Boon needs no introduction. He joined the Inspiral Carpets in 1986 and were highly regarded as being one of the top three Manchester Bands of that era and achieved notable chart success with 3 top ten albums and 3 top 20 singles and toured the world.
Clint has also been a permanent fixture on the Manchester airwaves since 2004, on stations such as BBC Radio Manchester, The Revolution, XFM Manchester and Radio X. He is currently presenting the weekday drive time show on XS Manchester. Clint is also renowned for his DJ sets and are known to be a Rock n’ Roll celebration like no other featuring some of the best records to have ever been made including genres such as Indie, Rock, Punk, Acid House and dance classics, Brit pop and even Northern soul.
