“Brilliant. The tutors were experts and they communicated and interacted with us so I developed my skills of singing and playing blues and my understanding of the music. Superb!”
“An opportunity to learn to play/sing music from the early days of Roots and Blues music - and to learn where the music originated from and what influenced it. The course also gives confidence in singing solo.” – Course participants
This course will cover a variety of classic styles from Chicago to Texas and the West Coast including Country Blues and Rhythm and Blues. It explores repertoire from blues legends such as Jimmy Reed, BB King, Albert King and many more.
Mat Walklate (Harmonica, guitar and vocals) and Paolo Fuschi (guitar and vocals) share a passion for blues music and have performed and recorded together since 2014 receiving rave reviews along the way.
