We're over the moon to reveal new music additions, comedy names, day splits and day ticket news for bluedot 2019.

Geek-chic superstar and national treasure Jarvis Cocker is a welcome addition to the festival with a rare live set on the Saturday. Four-piece Sons of Kemet, Kinshasan collective KOKOKO!, Self Esteem, Another Sky, Squid and many more also join the eclectic bill, alongside Derrick Carter, who will be bringing a sublime mix of futuristic tribal house and tech-disco with his 'Cosmic Disco', hosted by the UK’s most exciting disco party La Discothèque

Late night parties include Nyege Nyege Tapes presenting an exclusive line-up featuring Otim Alpha, Slikback and electro Acholi pioneer Leo P-Layeng, while Mixmagwill host genre-blending DJ Josey Rebelle and energetic party mixer Peach. Other additions include Manchester DJ and producer Willow and sets from award-winning DJ Ralph Lawson, both hosted by Inner City Electronic.

We're thrilled to also announce the names on this year’s comedy line-up including award-winning comedian John Robins, Knightmare Live – the critically acclaimed stage adaptation of the cult TV show, Knightmare, Irish freestyle rapper and comedianAbandoman, Kiri Pritchard-Mclean, The Dark Room, Paul Foot plus many more.

Thursday, Friday and Sunday day tickets will be on sale Friday 29 March – 10AM.

This year we're introducing Day and Night tickets for Friday. A Day & Night ticket will be £59.75 and allow you to enjoy the full day of science, cosmic culture and more, including Dot Talks, panels and screenings, plus all music and late night activity. Day & Night ticket does not include camping.

Friday Night Gig ticket provides entry from 5.30PM for just £35, for key headline music acts across all stages – including Hot Chip, Jon Hopkins, Kate Tempest, Ibibio Sound Machine, TOKiMONSTA and Kelly Lee Owens. Please note, the majority of talks and cultural programming is complete by 5.30PM. Night Gig Pass does not include camping.

Thursday day tickets will be priced at £35 and Sunday day tickets will be priced at £59.75.

Release 3 weekend tickets are set to sell out in the coming days. Secure yours now from £59 deposit, then pay the rest by 1 May.

We're over the moon to reveal our bluedot 2019 line-up, celebrating 50 years since the Moon Landings in July.

Joining Kraftwerk 3-D, one of the most influential electronic groups of all time, New Orderwill celebrate a homecoming festival performance on the Sunday night with Hot Chip – and the tantalising promise of brand new material – heading up the bill on Friday. Opening the Thursday night, the Lovell Stage will host an bespoke orchestral extravaganza as the internationally renowned Hallé Orchestra presents Lift Off, a performance of specially selected sci-fi themes and music related to the Moon accompanied by unique big screen visuals.

Elsewhere on the line-up is electronic pioneer Jon Hopkins, Mercury nominated poet, playwright and rapper Kate Tempest, alt-electro storyteller John Grant, Welsh psych wizardGruff Rhys, Grammy nominated producer Jennifer Lee aka TOKIMONSTA and art-rockerAnna Calvi.

We're also thrilled to announced the first names from our science and culture programme that will be centred around the 50th anniversary since the Moon Landings. Key speakers include leading science, wildlife and natural history broadcaster Liz Bonnin, Professor of Disability Research Tom Shakespeare and women’s rights activist Dr Helen Pankhurst, as well as bluedot favourites physicist Professor Jim Al-Khalili, spaceflight expert Dr Libby Jackson, TV presenter Dallas Campbell and the return of The Clangers celebrating their 50th anniversary.

Bringing together music and performance art, Kraftwerk 3-D concerts are a true "Gesamtkunstwerk – a total work of art.”

bluedot 2019 weekend and Saturday day tickets on sale this Friday 23 November 10AM.

Weekend tickets will be available to buy outright or on our 7 month payment plan. Saturday day tickets will be priced from £59.75 and will be available to purchase outright.
