The producer born Tony Simon’s love for New York hip hop pushed him to create beautifully crafted beats without the necessity of any voice. Since his 2004 debut, Music By Cavelight, Blockhead has shared a list of utterly distinctive, funky and emotive instrumental hip hop tracks for the last two decades. On top of that, his production input in the highly acclaimed works of Aesop Rock and Def Jux made his name standing amongst DJ Shadow, Food and Krush.
