    Sophie Lancaster was the girl who died for looking like a "goth" the Sophie Lancaster Foundation works on creating respect for and understanding of subcultures in our communities.

    The BBC have produced a documentary film about the incident and this event will premiere the film and be followed by a Q&A with the film-makers and members of the foundation.

    The Film Synopsis

    "Sophie Lancaster was kicked to death in a Lancashire park in 2007 because of her appearance. Sylvia Lancaster remembers her daughter and the tragic events after the attack as Sophie tells her own story through a sequence of poems written by poet by Simon Armitage."
