As festivals go, Atmosphere really does have the potential to blow the competition right out of the water this year.
Taking place at Mossley Football Club's picturesque Seel Park stadium on Saturday, May 26 - smack bang in the middle of the year's most eagerly-awaited bank holiday weekend - Atmosphere has so, so much to offer.
A stellar line-up is in place - headlined by the amazing Scouting for Girls and legendary scousers Cast - to guarantee the event of the year for the thriving north-west live music scene.
Republica also feature on the bill, as do A Certain Ratio and Northern Uproar, while getting a chance to shine on the biggest of stages will be ace locally-based outfits Corella, Time for Action, the Smashing Lads and top-drawer Oasis tribute band, Oaces.
To complete a simply awesome Atmosphere line-up on the day - which runs from mid-day until 11pm - are top DJs Bez, of Happy Mondays fame, Dave Beer (Back to Basics) and Revolution 96.2fm radio's Dave Sweetmore.
