Ash Walker & Noya Rao Tickets

London born and bred multifaceted musician Ash Walker will be joining Leeds-based, electronic-soul quartet Noya Rao at Archspace for a night of unique jazz-infused hip-hop, trip-hop and danceable electronica.

Describing his current sound as trip-hop with an abstract twist, Ash Walker incorporates an intoxicatingly heavy dub reggae bottom end with samples of original material – all firmly rooted in jazz harmony. Ash continues to establish himself as one of the bright and best emerging trip-hop artists to watch in 2018.

Noya Rao, purveyors of enigmatic dreamscapes and organic, danceable electronica, consist of producer Tom Henry, bassist Jim Wiltshire, drummer Matt Davies and vocalist Olivia Bhattacharjee. Their compositions draw on the influences of jazz, hip-hop and electronic music whilst incorporating the sounds of the bass-heavy-dub music synonymous with the Leeds music scene.  

Supporting Noya Rao and Ash Walker will be China Bowls whowill deliver an infectious neo-soul jazz vibe.
