Today, West London wonder-kid AJ Tracey has dropped his brand new single “ Blacked Out” as well as revealing his long-awaited new project – an 8-track EP emphatically titled ‘Secure The Bag!’. AJ has also unveiled a new UK headline tour scheduled for Autumn 2017.
Accompanied by another dazzling Mornix visual, new single ‘Blacked Out’ was first played by Julie Adenuga on Beats1, and sees AJ doing what he does best: spitting fire over a slamming beat from none other than Grime royalty Sir Spyro.
Secure The Bag! is AJ’s first project since 2016’s breakout Lil Tracey EP - a 6-track offering which saw him selected by Vevo, Apple, MTV and the BBC as ‘one to watch’ in 2017. To date the EP has clocked nearly 20 million plays across Spotify and YouTube alone.
Hot on the heels of “LA4AWEEK” (feat. Swoosh and Sloan Evans) and the Spurs kit launch single “False 9”, new single “Blacked Out” is another sure sign that AJ is set to truly cement his position as the UK’s hottest new rap talent.
With a new 15-date UK run scheduled for October, concluding at London’s iconic O2 Kentish Town Forum, fans who attended the Lil Tracey tour earlier this year will already know that tickets won’t stick around for long!
