1EYE are back with their exciting new Rocksteady sound. Taking influence from the likes of John Holt, Ken Boothe and The Heptones, their eagerly awaited second album is guaranteed to rock the dance-floor! 1EYE are recording at their Birmingham studio with final production completed by Soljie Hamilton (Channel One) in Kingston, Jamaica. 1EYE's first album 'Whiskey Business' clearly shows their love for reggae music. This was only made possible by the diverse backgrounds of 1EYE's members who have worked with some of the most respected names in the business.
Alek and his brother AndySax occasionally feature as Plan B's brass section and are in the official 'Love Goes Down' video as well as the recent Hewlett Packard HP Beats advert. They also feature as Russian gangsters in the forthcoming movie 'Ill Manors', directed by Plan B and released in cinemas early 2012.
Andy toured with Plan B in 2010 upon the release of his hugely successful album 'The Defamation Of Strickland Banks'. He played at a variety of venues and festivals including Royal Festival Hall, Shepherds Bush Empire, Glastonbury and Radio 1's Big Weekend and appeared on a number of TV shows including Later Live with Jools Holland and Alan Carr's 'Chatty Man'. 1EYE have also supported UB40, Toots & The Maytals and Musical Youth.
