Wednesday 13 is a horror rock band, fronted by the Murderdolls frontman of the same name. The genre of music is a mix of glam and punk with lyrics heavily inspired by horror movies.
Wednesday's influences come from the likes of KISS and Alice Cooper, while at the same time never straying far from the band's horror-punk roots.
Joseph Poole's (a.k.a Wednesday 13) musical career began in 1992, as he formed the band Maniac Spider Trash, alongside Abby Normal, Michael Patrick and Sicko Zero. From 1992 through 1996, the band released one EP, Dumpster Mummies, before disbanding. Poole went on to form the Frankenstein Drag Queens From Planet 13, which included Maniac Spider Trash's guitarist and drummer Abby Normal and Sicko Zero, respectively.
