Walter Schreifels is a musician, songwriter and producer from New York. He was a founding member and principle songwriter for Gorilla Biscuits, Moondog, Quicksand and Rival Schools (actively). He has also written and performed with Warzone, Youth Of Today and CIV to name a few. As a producer he has worked with Hot Water Music, CIV, Rebecca Schiffman and most recently Title Fight among others. In 2010 he released his first full-length solo album titled An Open Letter To The Scene to the unbridled joy of fans and critics alike. Over the course of 2010 he’s toured the U.S., Canada, Japan, Europe and the U.K. as a solo artist. He’s also currently gearing up for the release of Pedals, the much anticipated sophomore release of the reconstituted Rival Schools featuring all original members.
