Currently riding the wave of the serious buzz she created with her captivating debut solo EP ‘Chapter One’ and the release of her last tracks ‘Good Good’ and the NYLON-premiered ‘Running Wild’ which have earned her rave reviews from the likes of i-D, Hunger, PAPER and The FADER - Vanessa White has now released her hotly anticipated second solo EP ‘Chapter Two’.

The EP comes days after the release of ‘Running Wild’ which NYLON described as a ‘total banger’, crowning her as ‘the new queen of R&B’. With production from the dynamic London producer LongLivThePlug, the vibrant track mixes urgent hip-hop and future R&B beats with Vanessa’s sublimely soulful vocal and brilliantly showcases her sharp song-writing talent which has helped her to garner praise from music fans and outlets such as Wonderland, Complex, The Line of Best Fit, Clash, Beats 1, 1Xtra and Capital Xtra and more since launching her solo career towards the end of 2015.

Already shooting to the top of iTunes’ Bestselling R&B pre-order chart and the top ten of the general Bestselling pre-order chart in the lead-up to its release, Vanessa continues to make her trailblazing assault on the music scene. Adding to ‘Running Wild’ and the Mkulu produced ‘Good Good’ – and stunning stripped-back versions of both tracks – the EP also features three brand new tracks. With production from Ads Valu on ‘Rotation’ and ‘Pressure’ and Chloe Martini on ‘Trust Me’, the previously unheard tracks see Vanessa building on the waves she has caused and taking things to the next level with her show-stopping vocal prowess and own unique take on addictive R&B melodies.

To mark the release of the EP, Vanessa was shot exclusively for the legendary fashion photographer Rankin’s Hunger magazine. The shoot sees Vanessa transformed as she explores different personas in a series of high fashion set-ups from Asian influenced silks [insert designer], to a confident streetwear look [insert designer] and even a dramatic change of hair colour. She also speaks frankly about the newfound honesty in her music, being a woman in an often male-dominated industry and taking full control of her solo journey.

Over the past year, Vanessa has been putting in the hours in the studio working with a host of talented and in-demand producers and musicians including the likes of PRGRSN, Wizzy Wow, Shakka, Musicman Ty (Alicia Keys, Swizz Beatz, P Diddy) and Snakehips and has also been collaborating with innovative creatives such as Rob Heppell (Crystal Fighters, New Pharaohs, Nowness), Charlotte Rutherford (PAPER, NYLON, Vogue) and Stephanie Sian Smith (FKA Twigs, Blood Orange, House of Holland).
