Twenty One Pilots (stylized as twenty | one | pilots) is an American duo from Columbus, Ohio. The band was formed in 2009 and currently consists of Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun.

Having already self-released two albums, the first in 2009 and second in 2011 the duo quickly attracted serious label attention following a sold out hometown show in Columbus - known for their irrepressible on-stage energy, twenty one pilots have built an avid international following with their crazy live performances.

“Vessel” sees twenty one pilots expanding upon the distinctive fusion of piano-driven indie-rocktronica, ably supported in the studio with superstar producer Greg Wells (Weezer, Adele, Aerosmith) behind the board. Songs like “Holding On To You” prompted Billboard to hail the guys “wind-up-toy of a single” as irresistible “saccharine punk rap”.
