Townsmen is the pop/rock group established by Yorkshire born singer songwriter, Johnny Carr, with Dave Thompson on lead guitar, Joey Conley on drums and Jonny Greenwood on bass and has been gigging around the north of England for the best part of 2016.
Appearances at 3 festivals (and more in the pipeline), have seen Townsmen rocking audiences with their brilliant mix of original songs and covers of some of the best pop/rock bands.
With 3 singles already released and more in recording, the band hopes to have a full album release in early 2017.
Joining Townsmen for the gig is acoustic singer-songwriter, Chris Birdsall, from Macclesfield, who's album 13 Songs (which is just that!) is now available.
This promises to be a night of superb music & dancing.
