The Suns Tickets

The Suns are currently in the studio recording new material so this will be the first show in Manchester this year and its sure to be a great one as they never disappoint! With support from Manchester's newest 'sons' Wet Pelican plus Nine53 DJ'S.

The River Dee may not be tidal, nor is it deep enough to surf, but somehow, somewhere, Chester groovers The Suns have managed to tap into the spirit of Link Wray, The Trashmen and The... Ventures to claim the forgotten vices of tremolo abuse and spring reverb addiction as their own...

"Awesome" (Uncut)

"The Suns are one of the few bands around making real garage music with a totally contemporary feel. Live, they’re f**kin brilliant. They’re the kind of band I want to be in" (Clint Boon of the Inspiral Carpets & Xfm)

A little bit of Jagger’s swagger, a hint of Hendrix and a double dose of Morrison’s madness" (Telfords Warehouse)

"Jono's deep croon, heavy use of maracas and Rutter's glorious spaghetti-western guitar lines all pile up into an intoxicating stew that manages the rare and impressive trick of being universally likeable yet intriguingly original." (Manchester Music Dash review)

Wet Pelican are a six piece band from Manchester and Liverpool. Their musical tastes are varied which in turn is reflected in their own music, from seaside shanty sing a longs and psychedelic sounds to a munsters derived 60's mash up.

The band have taken some time out to write new material and record their first double A side which is now available on Itunes and Amazon.
