The City Hall are delighted to announce that they are working with Daft As a Brush Cancer Patient Care presenting Last Night Of The Proms.

The charity, Daft as a Brush Cancer Patient Care, provides free transport for cancer out-patients to an from the Freeman/RVI Hospitals from as far afield as the Scottish Borders and North Yorkshire, across to West Cumbria.

Over 6000 cancer patient journeys last year were only made possible by the dedication and service of a magnificent team of 200 plus volunteer staff.  There is no charge to the patients for our service, which transports them in a safe and comfortable environment for their chemotherapy and/or radiotherapy treatment.
