Beloved Northern Irish comic Roy Walker is surely the definition of ‘national treasure’. Although he is best known for presenting popular game show Catchphrase, Roy has been performing stand-up to captivated audiences since the 1970s. His 2008 Edinburgh Festival debut Goodbye Mr Chips was hailed as “the undisputed hit of the year” by the Daily Express, and he’ll be no doubt saying what he sees at Chateau Impney later this year!
Award-winning actor John Thomson has been at the forefront of British television for over 20 years, and is well-known for his appearances in Cold Feet and The Fast Show. Along with former comedy partner Steve Coogan, John won the Perrier Comedy Award in 1992, and in his new stage show returns to his stand-up roots in what is sure to be an unforgettable performance.
Known as ‘The Bald Guy with the Long Hair’, Mick has been a mainstay on the British comedy circuit since getting his big break on New Faces, and a stint on TV show The Comedians made him a household name.
