The Hoosiers are an English pop/rock band from Reading, consisting of members Irwin Sparkes (lead vocals, lead guitar), Martin Skarendahl (bass guitar, rhythm guitar), Sam Swallow (keyboard, backing vocals) and Alan Sharland (drums, percussion).

The Hoosiers have sold over a million records through Sony, and achieved the smash hit singles ‘Goodbye Mr. A’, ‘Worried About Ray’, ‘Choices’ and top 10 album ‘The Illusion Of Safety’.

Their 3rd studio album is scheduled for release in April 2014 and will be called The News From Nowhere.
