An opportunity to come and hear the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, being interviewed by Radio 2 presenter, Jeremy Vine. There will also be a chance for audience members to put forward questions.

The Most Revd and Rt Hon Justin Welby became the 105th Archbishop of Canterbury in 2012. Born in 1956 in London, Archbishop Justin studied history and law at Cambridge before working in the oil industry for 11 years. He began training for ordination in 1989, taking a theology degree at St John’s College, Durham, in which he focused on ethics – particularly in business. An expert on the politics and history of Kenya and Nigeria, he has lectured on reconciliation at the US State Department. In the summer of 2012, he was asked to join the Parliamentary Commission on Banking Standards. Since becoming Archbishop, Justin has spoken out on a number of topics including poverty and food banks, payday lending, modern slavery and the persecution of Christians.

Jeremy Vine is presenter, broadcaster and journalist. He is best known as the host of his own BBC Radio 2 programme which presents news, views, interviews with live guests and popular music. He is known for his direct interview style, and exclusive reporting from war-torn areas throughout Africa.
