Sinking In Solitude are an unsigned Alternative Rock band based in Manchester. We formed in July 2010 and started gigging in early 2011 trying to create a fresh, new sound.
The band is made up of Jordan Skelly - Lead Vocalist, Cameron Ryan - Drummer/Backing Vocalist, Ryan Critchlow - Lead Guitarist, Luke Cooper - Rhythm Guitarist and Colm Carroll - Bass Guitarist.
We were originally an Indie/Rock band but shortly became Alternative Rock after all of our taste developed into slightly heavier/deeper music.
We have a lot of original material and that is what we mostly play at our gigs, with a few covers to balance things out. We are currently recording an EP 'Get Down, Or Get Out!' which will be released on the 1st June 2013.
We have played many prestigious venues such as Academy 3 and Club Academy, Dry Bar, The Grinch Wine Bar in Manchester City Centre and also a number of charity gigs and social clubs.
We enjoy what we do and have make sure we have fun, but at the same time, we strive to have a professional outlook on our musical life and the way we organise ourselves.
