SFX is proud to announce something really exciting - a two-day event that's just for you. Whether you're a regular expo goer or a total con virgin, we've got the perfect place for you to be: The SFX Weekender 2010.
This is the ultimate live sci-fi experience, with activities to suit every fan and to keep all the family entertained. Join us on 5-6 February 2010 for book readings, special guest stars, panels and interviews, Q&A sessions, comics workshops, videogaming, music and more.
Join in discussions with your favourite authors, be the first to see new clips from forthcoming TV shows, watch sci-fi-themed bands, and dance like a loon with people in alien costumes. Once you've scored your favourite celeb's autograph, you can have a pint with the SFX team, then take on other readers in the legendary pub quiz!
You'll live the full sci-fi experience for two days. And to top it all off, the SFX Weekender will include the live presentation of the next SFX Awards. You'll be voting for your favourite shows and events of 2009 in the magazine, so why not come along and see who's won?
We'll be keeping you posted through the pages of SFX with announcements about which celebrities will be coming, and any new cool activities and workshops we've confirmed. Even more headline guests will be announced between now and February.
