The 'Peoples' Tenor dubbed 'The Voice' Russell Watson, will delight the crowds at a new outdoor music event at Liverpool's Speke Hall. The 'Last Night of The Proms' concert will be held over the double bank holiday weekend of the Queens Diamond Jubilee, next June and form the finale of the three night event. Watson will take to the stage to perform alongside the Manchester Camerata Orchestra. Locals will also notice a few familiar faces as organisers announce a series of local performers over the coming months.

Russell will perform in the 'Last Night of the Proms' on Monday 4^th June 2012. Members of the public are encouraged to bring their own picnics and be wowed by the classics, such as Jerusalem, Land of Hope and Glory and Rule Britannia, all culminating with a spectacular firework finale.
