Palestinian singer Reem Kelani was born in Manchester and brought up in Kuwait. Her first album was Sprinting Gazelle, and her next album, Live at the Tabernacle, is due for release in November. She presented “Songs for Tahrir” for BBC Radio 4 about her experiences in Tahrir Square. Reem will be accompanied by Al MacSween on electric piano.
