Emo punk-pop group Real Friends were formed on the South Side of Chicago by vocalist Dan Lambton, bassist Kyle Fasel, drummer Brian Blake, and guitarists Dave Knox and Eric Haines. In 2013, the band released its debut, Put Yourself Back Together, on Synergy Records.
