The sixth installment of Cumbria ’s premier oldskool event returns to Barrow venue ‘The Nines’ on October 6th.
RE-ViVED was set up in 2010 by two of Furness’s most well known club DJ’s from over the last twenty years – Matt Fear and Matty ‘Bassdriver’ Messenger. The event celebrates the north-west club culture of the ‘golden years’ of 1989 to 1996 and looks to put Barrow's clubscene back on the map.
As with previous events RE-ViVED 6 will feature an appearance by THREE special guest DJ’s:
- MIXFACTORY’S DJ Mark XTC – Manchester-based oldskool legend who has played gigs worldwide for promoters including Dreamscape, Helter Skelter, Fantazia etc…and also a former North-West DMC Scratch-DJ Turntable Champion! Mark will be playing an uplifting 1991-92 Piano and Breakbeat Rave anthems set!
- DJ Mike ABSOLUTE – Time-served resident of the legendary Bowlers venue.
- DJ STU DAVIES – Crowd-pleasing favourite from The Zone, who is appearing in response to public demand and will be playing an Italian Synth anthems set.
Hosts for the nite will be Zone legends MC’s Irie and Smoke. Other names present will include long-time Barrow floorfiller DJ Fitch and there will be sets from RE-ViVED promoters – Matt Fear and Matty Bassdriver.

PLUS…as always the evening will be kicking off in style with the now traditional FREE ENTRY PRE PARTY (in association with Dance Classix) in BAR FIVE (7 til 10pm) featuring DJ's:
