A new hour of sketch comedy written by O&O Part realism part ridiculous part darkly intimate experience…

Finalists ‘Best New Act’ at Bath Comedy Festival 2015

Masters of cutting edge discomfort and unparalleled LOLs, South West comedy duo O&O announce The Good Stuff, a new hour of sketch comedy. Described as a “young Wood & Walters” O&O, aka Marina O’Shea and Tessa (O’) Gaukroger, aka The Funny One and The Tall One, follow rapturous reviews, sold out shows and a host of industry nominations with news of their debut Edinburgh Fringe Festival show - ‘The Good Stuff’, preceded by a short preview tour in June and July.

Premiered in March to a sold out crowd, The Good Stuff zooms in on the little moments, the hilarity hidden in the unnoticed characters we pass each day: a manager losing control of her team, a checkout girl that doesn’t understand how annoy putting change on top of the receipt is, loved ones abducted by Netflix and the impending doom of rising London rents. As if this wasn’t enough for one lightning fast hour led by a duo who almost definitely know each other too well, a vital ‘living‘ prop has gone missing backstage. Everything will almost certainly end in chaos. You’ll be laughing with them, at them and long after they’re gone…

Founded in 2011, professional touring comedy duo O&O have defined themselves as a witty twosome with a self-penned, interactive style. Past shows Out of Season (2013), A Comedy of Careers (2014) and We’re Dead Serious (2015) took them up and down the country through festivals, theatres, comedy clubs and even a few living rooms - cosy. Their partnership with film bods Cineon Productions (UK Film Council, BBC) resulted in the hugely successful six part comedy short series, which went on to be selected for screenings at international film festivals - watch it in full on the duo’s youtube channel. Accolades are now mounting, with the pair nominated for a host of awards including ‘Best New Act’ at London Sketchfest 2015, ‘Best New Act’ at Bath Comedy Festival 2015 plus a review from the Greater  Manchester Fringe that whipped out the G word and raised expectations to an almost impossibly high level: “Non-stop laughter - geniuses at work.”
