NOCTURNE LIVE

13-16 June 2024

13 June - Chaka Khan & Sister Sledge & The Fatback Band

Music legend and pop culture icon Chaka Khan has been announced as part of a hugely anticipated triple bill for next summer’s Nocturne Live concert series.

The 10-time Grammy winner, who is touring in celebration of both her 70th birthday and 50th year in music, will perform at the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire on Thursday June 13th alongside disco legends Sister Sledge and party-starting funk group The Fatback Band.

For over five decades, Chaka Khan has remained one of music’s most influential voices, releasing 23 albums and enjoying a string of hits including Ain’t Nobody, I’m Every Woman, I Feel For You and Tell Me Something Good, and was recently inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame.

Joining Khan in Blenheim Palace’s stunning Great Court will be disco queens Sister Sledge, the multi-million-selling vocal group behind the classic anthems We Are Family, Thinking Of You, He’s The Greatest Dancer and Lost In Music, and funk and soul outfit The Fatback Band who revolutionised the foundations of dance, funk, soul, rap and R&B in the ’70s and ’80s and continue to wow crowds around the world over fifty years after their inception.

15 June - Sugababes & Melanie C & Shaznay Lewis

British pop royalty Sugababes, Melanie C and All Saints’ Shaznay Lewis are heading to Blenheim Palace’s stunning Great Court on Saturday June 15th 2024.

Sugababes exploded onto the UK music scene with their debut single ‘Overload’ and went on to become one of the most successful British girl bands of all time with multiple awards, platinum albums and six number one singles. Performing with their original line up of Mutya, Keisha and Siobhan, expect to hear huge hits ‘Freak Like Me’, ‘Round and Round’, ‘Push The Button’, ‘About You Now’ and many more.

Joining Sugababes next summer is Melanie C who, as a member of the legendary Spice Girls, achieved meteoric success selling more than 85 million records before going on to solo fame with number one singles ‘I Turn To You’ and ‘Never Be The Same Again’.

Shaznay Lewis completes the trio of iconic British pop acts, having won Ivor Novello and Brit Awards as lead songwriter of multi-million selling girl band All Saints, penning the hits ‘Never Ever’ and ‘Pure Shores’.

16 June - Crowded House & Sheryl Crow

Multi-million-selling Australian pop group Crowded House and nine-time Grammy-winning US singer-songwriter Sheryl Crow are the first artists announced for next summer’s Nocturne Live concert series, which returns to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire in June 2024. Two of the biggest artists of the ’90s, who have collectively sold over 60 million albums over the course of their careers, will take to the stage on Sunday 16th June.

Fronted by singer and guitarist Neil Finn, Crowded House became one of Australia’s most successful exports thanks to huge international hits including ‘Don’t Dream It’s Over’, ‘Weather With You’, ‘Fall At Your Feet’ and many more, while Sheryl Crow, who was inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame earlier this year, soundtracked a generation with sing-a-long classics ‘All I Wanna Do’, ‘If It Makes You Happy’, ‘Soak Up The Sun’ and ‘Everyday Is A Winding Road’.
