Manchester date on sale
Coldplay, presented by Radio One, announce stadium shows in the UK for September 2009 including a date at London's Wembley Stadium.
Coldplay have sold out their date at Wembley Stadium on September 19th 2009 after tickets went on sale last Friday. Due to exceptional demand, the band has announced that they will play an extra night at the venue on September 18th 2009.
The band will be supported on the new Wembley date only by Girls Aloud, with Jay-Z supporting on all other UK stadium dates.
On November 24 Coldplay release a two disc set “Viva La Vida – Prospekt’s March Edition”. The second CD features 8 previously unreleased tracks, which are also available separately as an EP.
The album “Viva La Vida” was released in June and charted at No 1 in 36 countries, including the UK and USA.
