Netball Superleague - Loughborough Lightning

Loughborough Lightning was launched in 2006 when the Netball Superleague was launched.

Loughborough University has always had a proud history of helping to produce talented netballers, boasting many prolific netballing alumni such as England regulars Olivia Murphy, Karen Atkinson, Ama Agbeze and Jade Clark. With this in mind, and reflecting the University’s position at the heart of sport in the UK, it was a great opportunity to enter a Loughborough based team in the new Superleague.
