Calling all budding writers looking to work in TV comedy and drama. CIT offers a unique opportunity to meet some of the North’s most important current script producers.
Katherine Beacon, Head of Development for Jellylegs Productions (The Royle Family, The Cafe), Amy Buscombe, Head of Development at LA Productions (Moving On, Justice) and script & production consultant Micheal Jacob (ex Development Editor at BBC Comedy) are ‘in conversation’ with Ric Michael – former Head of Development at Baby Cow Manchester and an experienced multi-platform producer.

This will be a lively and informative event with some of the professionals developing scripted comedy and drama from page to screen in the region. The afternoon will comprise of short presentations to give an overview of current trends and on-screen developments followed by your chance to ask questions.
The panel will discuss how to get your work to commissioners, current trends within the industry, who to target and how to reach them with your scripts. The discussion features a question and answer format to ensure that you get the chance to put your queries to the panel.
