As part of Dance Springs 2016, multi-award-winning company Protein returns with its most playful collaboration to date as four vocalists and four dancers all sing for their supper in a dining setting that May Contain Food...Be seated at a table, offered a tasting menu and then served up a show that explores our relationship with food and the behaviours and protocols of mealtimes: from the pop of a cherry tomato to the temptation to devour another person’s leftovers. Curated by choreographer Luca Silvestrini and with an a cappella score by the acclaimed composer Orlando Gough, this witty piece of dance and music theatre presents a unique, visceral experience of indulgence, nostalgia and mischief.
