The annual blues festival takes over the town for the weekend with more than 100 musicians from all over the globe performing on the main stage, Shipping Brow Outdoor stage and in various pubs and clubs in the area. Recent headline acts include Robert Cray, Van Morrison, Buddy Guy, Chuck Berry, Jethro Tull, John Mayall and Jools Holland.
