Lounge On The Farm

The Lounge On The Farm history, like so many romantic tales, begins with a number scribbled on the back of a fag packet. A chance meeting between 'Lounge Original' Sean and the son of a farmer as they watched a band perform aboard a flat bed lorry in the middle of Canterbury in the spring of 2004 is where it all began. Ideas were exchanged. A telephone number was hastily jotted on a pack of cigarettes. And the rest as they say is history!

In the Summer of 2006, Merton Farm hosted the first ever Lounge On The Farm. Featuring a phenomenal amount of local talent on 4 stages and some cracking headline acts, including The Egg, The View, DJ Andy Smith, Nizlopi and Vincent Vincent & The Villains the blisteringly hot weekend was a lovely introduction to Lounge On The Farm.
