Jenn Butterworth and Laura-Beth SalterUniting two powerful voices with guitar and mandolin, Jenn Butterworth and Laura-Beth Salter are both key players in Glasgow’s world-renowned grassroots folk scene, with their new duo partnership channelling that tumultuous creative energy into a mix of Celtic and Americana material.
Jenn Butterworth is one of Scotland’s foremost female guitarists, and has toured extensively with the award winning Anna Massie Band. As an accompanist she is in high demand, her most recent collaborations have involved artists such as Phil Cunningham and Nuala Kennedy.
Laura-Beth Salter takes influence from the Oldtime and Bluegrass music that her parents played whilst she was growing up in Lincolnshire. After spending time studying a Traditional Music Degree in Newcastle she became heavily involved in the folk scene. She is a founding member of The Shee and her most recent collaborations involve Shooglenifty and The MacLean Project led by the world renowned Perthshire singer Dougie MacLean.
Ryan Young and Craig Irving
Ryan Young and Craig IrvingRyan Young and Craig Irving are a fiddle and guitar duo from Glasgow.
Ryan is a two time BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Award nominee, a Celtic Connections Danny Kyle Award winner and was a finalist in the 2015 BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician of the Year competition. Craig is a BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Award 2015 nominee, a Celtic Connections Danny Kyle Award winner and was a member of the 2014 Scots Trad Music Awards House Band.
The duo brings together two of Scotland’s brightest young folk musicians to create a sound that varies from sensitive slow airs to driving reels and strathspeys.

Jonathan truly lives through his music and his curiosity with sound began as a toddler. Astounding audiences at just five years old, Ali Bain awarded him a fiver at a fiddler competition in Shetland!
Since then he has grown into an impressive craftsman of songs with a prolific output garnered through his extensive experience in music and brought to fruition through a voice honed over years of dedication.
