Kimberly Anne describes her music as ‘acoustic pop married to indie, whilst having a love affair with Afro/Caribbean and Brazilian rhythms.’ Confused? So was she when trying to find a sound that best represented the influences she was surrounded by growing up in a musical playground, from Van Morrison to Mary J Blige. Kimberly came to know her parents’ record collection so well, they almost felt like extended family relatives.

Following support shows with the likes of HAIM, Ella Eyre, Jake Bugg and First Aid Kit, Kimberly Anne announces her debut headline tour in October, around her already sold out London show on Thursday 8th October.

Kimberly Anne recorded a stripped-back cover of Robin S’s house classic Show Me Love in her south London bedroom and uploaded it to YouTube in late 2013. Dutch DJ Sam Feldt liked her version so much he took her vocal and rebuilt it into a house track. Currently A-Listed at Radio 1, the single entered the charts at No.4 on Friday.
