    Jamie Lenman

    Jamie Lenman

Jamie Edward Lenman, (9 November 1982) of Greenwich, was the lead singer and guitar player in the British alternative rock trio Reuben. He was a founding member of the band along with bassist Jon Pearce and was also the main songwriter for the band.

Lenman has been in and out of bands since his early teenage years, a few of them alongside Jon Pearce. Lenman and Pearce eventually formed the band Angel with drummer and Producer Jason Wilson (Stakeout Studios). After a demo release and prior to their first EP, the band changed drummers and renamed themselves Reuben.

From 2004 to 2008, Lenman has played drums in the band Caretaker. Lenman has also performed as a guest vocalist on albums by Frank Turner, Sucioperro, Sean Genockey and Left Side Brain. Lenman and band mate Guy Davis collaborated with yourcodenameis:milo on Milo's Print Is Dead project.

Lenman has directed many music videos for bands including Reuben, Sucioperro and Frank Turner.

Reuben split amicably in June 2008 due to a "culmination of different pressures" and Lenman currently illustrates for various clients including the Dr Who Magazine and The Guardian newspaper in London.
