Inspired by the music he grew up listening to Jamie brings together a unique blend of RnB and modern pop. Influenced by the likes of Lauryn Hill, Destiny's Child, Craig David and Usher, Jamie's particularly individual sound is somewhat reminiscent of that nineties RnB style and its well known acoustic elements. Drawing his lyrics from personal life experiences alongside that 'Jamie Grey' sound, his original songs make for a heartfelt performance and bring with them a refreshing spin on commercial music.
