Born over 3 years ago as a 2-piece horn section, Extra Love have grown within the last year to a 10-piece band performing at some of the UK's best loved music events.
The diversity of Extra Love's music reflects the diversity of all the musical styles that the band members work within. Referencing much rhythm'n'blues, soul, funk, latin and jazz styles, Extra Love will play the deepest darkest dub spirituals, the bassiest grooves and the most uplifting roots reggae world music. The band are well known to improvise entire tunes to ensure the delivery of a highly entertaining spontaneous performance.
Extra Love can be heard performing a large variety of original material along with reggae and ska favourites by the likes of Horace Andy, The Skatalites, Johnny Osbourne, Augustus Pablo and Earnest Ranglin.
