Undoubtedly one of the biggest artists in the world, Elton John and his band will bring their unforgettable live show to Blackpool for one special night this summer. 

The concert will take place on the newly created Tower Festival Headland, Blackpool, adjacent to The Blackpool Tower and located on the world famous Golden Mile. On Saturday 16^th June 2012, thousands of fans will have the opportunity dance and sing along to a succession of Elton's much-loved songs in this specially created fully seated outdoor arena.

"I have played over 3000 concerts - but I haven't performed in Blackpool for thirty years! So I'm looking forward to revisiting this legendary seaside town and playing on the Golden Mile, right near the Blackpool Tower. See you in June!" 

Elton will become the first ever artist to play the Tower Festival Headland.

Elton's special guests 2CELLOS, Luka Sulic and Stjepan Hauser, will open the show in Blackpool.

2Cellos & Tallia Storm to join Elton John at his Falkirk Stadium Concert!

Sir Elton John, undoubtedly one of the biggest artists in the world, has announced that two very special guests will join him for his forthcoming live show in Falkirk this summer.

2CELLOS and Tallia Storm are set to open the show at The Falkirk Stadium on Sunday 10 June, Elton’s only Scottish show of 2012.

Classically trained musicians 2CELLOS have performed together since January 2011 and in that time have become internet sensations, and have landed a major record deal and management contract whilst being taken under the wing of Elton John.

Last summer Luka Sulic and Stjepan Hauser joined Elton John and his band as they toured the world. This year they have also performed as his special guests, opening the show with performances including music from Tchaikovsky to Michael Jackson to Nirvana. This will be their first ever performance in Scotland and one that is likely to lead to many more visits.

"Performing live gives us the chance to share our passion and energy for music with the audience. We look forward to doing that in Scotland." 

Local girl Tallia Storm’s addition to the bill is testament to her determination. This Christmas whilst abroad on holiday, Tallia used her instinct to her advantage when she encountered David Furnish, and asked him to pass on a letter to Elton John. The following day Elton contacted her and told her that she has one of the most exciting vocal signatures he had heard in years, and that he absolutely loved her material and her vibe. This lead to her being invited to join Elton in Falkirk. She accepted of course!

As one of the greatest and most successful live artists, Elton’s spectacular stage shows continue to leave the competition standing! His shows comprise over two hours of hits from an incredible back catalogue, including such classics as ‘Bennie and the Jets, ‘Crocodile Rock’ and ‘Your Song’.

Multi-million album selling superstar Sir Elton John has announced further UK dates around his already confirmed outdoor show at Chesterfield FC on 9th June 2012.

The singer recently returned to Las Vegas for a three-year residency at the famous Caesar’s Palace this Autumn. The ‘Rocket Man’ will return to America's playground once again to perform his new ‘Million Dollar Piano’ show.

Elton John played a string of outdoor UK shows last Summer, as well as entertaining crowds at a handful of arenas. He will return to the UK in June 2012 for a series of live dates.

Rocketman to perform first ever date in Chesterfield.

The concert will take place at the B2net Stadium, home of Chesterfield Football Club on Saturday 9 June 2012. The fully reserved seated concert will give thousands of fans the opportunity to dance and sing along to his much-loved songs.

Elton said: "Music is a wonderful gift and I feel very privileged to be able to share this with so many people around the world. I am thrilled that at long last I can bring my show to Chesterfield, I have never had the chance to play in this town before so I am excited to be the first performer to play at this fabulous stadium."
