Duet for One

A famous concert violinist, whose career is ended and marriage threatened because of a crippling illness, confronts her situation in a series of painful, moving and challenging interviews with her psychiatrist – through them we see her trying to come to terms
and cope with her illness and its effect on her life. She is defiant, hopeless, angry, maudlin by turns and succeeds in provoking the psychiatrist into responses well outside his clinical brief!
