Dementia Friendly - I know where I'm Going

We are back again with another Dementia Friendly screening at the Kirky Picture Palace

We will be showing the classic 1945 Powell and Pressburger film, I Know Where I’m Going, as part of our Scottish Film Festival months Dementia Screening.

A young Englishwoman goes to the Hebrides to marry her older, wealthier fiancé. When the weather keeps them separated on different islands, she begins to have second thoughts.

Working in partnership with Alzheimer Scotland, our Dementia Friendly screenings ante carefully structured to suit the needs of those living with Dementia and their carers.

The hall is the light with the volume reduced.

There will be friendly staff available throughout the movie for a wee blether.

These screenings are a relaxed and friendly atmosphere where we encourage chatting, singing and dancing.

Come along and enjoy it, everyone is welcome.
